Our Beliefs

We believe in:

The Word of God, inerrant and infallible in the original writings verbally inspired by God, both Old and New Testaments, and that they are of supreme and final authority in matters of faith, practice and doctrine.

The Trinity, one eternally existing God, yet co-equal in the persons of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

The Virgin Birth of Jesus Christ, begotten by God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born to the virgin, Mary.

The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, who empowers the preaching and teaching of the Gospel, who is the life of ‘whosoever believeth in Him (Christ)’, and who convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment.

The sinful nature of mankind, who though created in the image of God, sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but spiritual death, which is separation from God, and that all humans are born with this sinful nature.

The Lord Jesus Christ’s Atoning Sacrifice, having been crucified on the Cross, as a representative and substitution for our sins, and that ‘whosoever believeth in Him’ is justified on the basis of Christ’s shed blood, all according to the Word of God.

The Lord Jesus Christ’s Resurrection after His death on the Cross, His witnessed ascension into heaven and His presence at the right hand of the Father, as High Priest and Advocate for ‘whosoever believeth in Him’.

The Blessed Hope of the personal, visible and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Eternal Life, promised to ‘whosoever believeth in Him’, receives by faith the Lord Jesus Christ, is born again by the Holy Spirit, and thereby becomes a child of God and an heir with Christ.

The enemy, who is still ‘seeking whom he may devour’, working in the world to destroy the lives and souls of people, and that he and all his fallen angels and all who reject Christ as Lord and Savior will suffer eternal separation from God.

Christ’s Body, the Church, whose mission is to preach the Word of God to all the world, and to build up and edify one another, while under the guidance, care and protection of leaders who shepherd after God’s heart.

The Believer’s Baptism and The Lord’s Supper, are ordinances of the church, given to church by the Lord Jesus Christ.

On Mission With God

John 3:16, 17

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son to condemn the world; but that the world through Him might be saved." (KJV)

John 20:21

". . . as the Father has sent Me, I am sending you." (NIV)
